Horse Section

The Horse Section is always a major highlight of the Whitfield Excavations Swan Hill District Show! Over two big days, the arena comes alive with the elegance, skill and excitement of equestrian competition.

From led classes showcasing beautifully presented horses and ponies, to the thrills of the rider classes and pony club classes, there’s something for competitors and spectators alike to enjoy.

Whether you’re a serious competitor or a keen horse lover, the horse program offers a great mix of tradition, talent and fun.

Our horse events draw competitors from across the district and beyond, making it a fantastic opportunity to see some of the region’s best riders and horses in action. With a wide range of classes, there’s competition for all ages and levels – from young riders right through to seasoned professionals.

Come and enjoy the atmosphere ringside, cheer on your favorites, and experience the passion, precision and partnership between horse and rider that makes this part of the Show so special.
